True to her Sewanee roots, Katharine has pursued the path of an “interdisciplinarian,” believing that the intersection of people and purpose brings meaning to our lives and impact to our world. Based on her PhD research at Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar, Katharine published Between God & Green: How Evangelicals Are Cultivating a Middle Ground on Climate Change – called “a vitally important, even subversive, story” by The Boston Globe. She has worked for the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Boston Consulting Group. Today, as Director of Strategy & Activation at the purpose consultancy BrightHouse, she works to harness business as a force for social good. Katharine is passionately involved in shaping a community of engagement and a sustainable future for Atlanta, the city she calls home.
