E.E. Hussey was born in the Philippines, raised in Japan and Italy, and has lived in several US cities. She has received support from Bread Loaf Environmental Writers’ Conference, Tin House, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Virginia G. Piper Center. Her work has been recognized as Notable in Best American Essays. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in PANK, The Kenyon Review, and elsewhere.
