We rely on alumni, parents and friends who partner with us to help accomplish our mission.

Volunteer Leaders

Alumni Executive Board

The Alumni Executive Board is composed of 20 alumni and the President of the Associated Alumni. They work closely with the Office of Alumni and Parent Programs as an advisory body to strengthen alumni engagement, inspire alumni to support Sewanee's mission, and contribute to Sewanee with their service and philanthropy. The Alumni Executive Board meets on campus two times a year.

The Benjamin Network

Named for the late Eric Benjamin, C'73, Sewanee's beloved former Director of Multicultural Affairs, the Benjamin Network seeks to empower, connect, and celebrate the University's Black alumni while supporting the greater Sewanee community.

Sewanee Fund and Reunion Volunteers

Class agents, class chairs, and reunion volunteers assist the Sewanee Fund with yearly campaigns that help Sewanee meet its immediate needs. In the 50th reunion year, the class raises funds for a special class project as well. These dedicated volunteers make strong connections between Sewanee and their classmates and help the Sewanee community continue to flourish.

Sewanee Parents' Council

The Sewanee Parents' Council is a group of active parents who invest financially and relationally so that the Sewanee family can grow and flourish.

School of Theology Alumni Council

The School of Theology alumni council builds and grows connections between the University and its seminary alumni. The council assists in recruitment efforts, works to enhance the educational experiences of current students, and supports graduates throughout their ministry. Council members serve as an important point of connection representing Sewanee to the broader Episcopal Church.
