Sewanee’s 1858 Annual Giving Societies represent 5 levels of giving in which donors have demonstrated exemplary generosity. This group of societies includes:

Vice-Chancellor's Society $2,500-$9,999
VCS: 6-10 years post-graduation $1,250+
VCS: 1-5 years post-graduation $750+
Ecce Quam Bonum Society $10,000-$24,999
Regents' Society $25,000-$49,999
Chancellor's Society $50,000-$99,999
Founders' Society $100,000+
Fideles Society Donors who have given for 5 consecutive years
Lifetime giving societies

Sewanee’s Lifetime Giving Societies include 3 societies in which donors have demonstrated a sustained commitment to Sewanee over time:

Never-Failing Succession of Benefactors Individuals whose lifetime giving through outright gifts and/or the present tax value of irrevocable deferred gifts has reached the level of $1.5 million
Order of the Purple

Individuals whose lifetime giving through outright gifts and/or the present tax value of irrevocable deferred gifts has reached the level of $100,000

There are four levels of recognition:

Bronze—recognizes total giving of at least $100,000

Silver—recognizes total giving of at least $250,000

Gold—recognizes total giving of at least $500,000

Crystal—recognizes total giving of at least $1,000,000
