“Connecting benefactors with the students whose Sewanee experiences have been enhanced by donors’ generous contributions.” 
Held annually on the first Saturday in December during Lessons and Carols weekend, The Benefactors' Brunch is a special gathering to honor and thank donors whose generosity has profoundly impacted Sewanee students. This event features a seated brunch and a program of inspiring speakers, including the vice-chancellor, student recipients of scholarships or internships, and representatives of other endowed programs. This cherished tradition not only expresses our deep gratitude to our benefactors but also fosters meaningful connections between our students and the donors who have enriched their Sewanee experiences.  

Hosted annually over Homecoming Weekend, this special gathering celebrates the generosity and commitment of members of the Order of the Purple and the Charlotte Manigault Society. Attendees include all society members as of the previous fiscal year.
This event serves to honor the dedication of these distinguished supporters, welcome new members, and recognize those who have achieved new levels of giving within the Order of the Purple. With a warm and celebratory atmosphere, this breakfast embodies our gratitude for the transformative impact of their contributions to the University.

Held during Homecoming Weekend, this special event celebrates the generosity and dedication of Sewanee's most committed supporters and volunteers. The gathering honors members of the 1858 Societies, individuals with 25 Years of Giving, and Sewanee Fund and reunion class chairs and volunteers.

This event provides a meaningful opportunity to publicly recognize the tireless efforts of our class and reunion volunteers in front of their peers, while also celebrating those whose annual giving exemplifies leadership and consistency. By bringing together these dedicated members of the Sewanee community, we express our deep gratitude for their lasting impact on the University.
