This sentiment, which I shared on the occasion of my election as vice-chancellor in January, reflects my unwavering belief in the special quality of the Sewanee experience. When I consider the University’s tremendous potential, I also give thanks for you, the passionate alumni who enable us to meet our goals and continuously aim higher on behalf of our remarkable students.
I am confident in Sewanee’s ability to provide a transformative experience, and I am equally certain that our progress depends on the generous support of our devoted alumni, families, and friends. It takes all of us working together to propel Sewanee ever forward.
Your steadfast support is the cornerstone of our mission and will empower Sewanee as we write the next chapter in our story. Our focus remains resolute:
