Tiger Student Ventures

TSV is a Student-Run Business Association (SRBA) member organization aimed at promoting student entrepreneurship and business education. As a platform for multiple student-led businesses on campus, TSV seeks to enrich the Sewanee community and the surrounding area and believes that encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit is key to achieving this goal. One of the TSV's student-run businesses is "The Rolling Tigers" snow cone stand and coffee cart which provides students with real-world practice as entrepreneurs.

The Women in Finance, Business, and Economics Society

The Women in Finance, Business, and Economics Society was founded to support and build connections for women in sectors of the workplace where they are currently underrepresented. Our goal is to create a strong community of Sewanee students and alumni to support and mentor women who want to work in these competitive, male-dominated industries. The Society is open to all members who want to improve financial literacy and knowledge.

Sewanee Consulting Club

The Sewanee Consulting Club (SCC) allows students to engage in real-world consulting projects while developing valuable skills and professional connections. SCC equips members to excel in various industries through consulting experiences, case interview preparation, and alumni mentorship. Focused on fostering a strong network, SCC prepares students to be leaders and problem-solvers in consulting and related fields. Members gain insights into the consulting landscape while upholding Sewanee's commitment to community impact and excellence.

Sophomore Jumpstart for Careers in Consulting and Finance

Hiring for entry-level positions in consulting and finance is competitive and begins early in the second semester of the sophomore year. Companies begin to recruit over a year in advance for internships that can lead to return job offers. We want to help sophomores understand the industry sectors and roles, connect with alumni, and secure an offer.

Jumpstart for Careers in Commercial Real Estate

The Jumpstart for Careers in Commercial Real Estate provides an on-ramp into a career in commercial real estate for sophomores, juniors, and seniors by connecting them with alumni and preparing them to succeed in interviewing and securing offers.
