Reacting to the Past (RTTP) is "an active learning pedagogy of role-playing games designed for higher education". Students take on roles in scenarios designed around historical events and periods including the Constitutional Convention of 1787, the trial of Galileo, and the 1835 treaty negotiations between the Cherokee National Council and representatives of the United States in Red Clay, Tennessee.
