Center for Teaching (duPont 2nd Floor)
The Office of Integrated Advising and the Career Center invite you to a conversation about competencies and skills our students develop through our curriculum and co-curricular experiences. The National Association of Colleges and Employers identifies eight skills/competencies college students should develop to be ready for life and work after graduation: Critical Thinking/Problem Solving, Oral/Written Communications, Teamwork/Collaboration, Digital Technology, Leadership, Professionalism/Work Ethic, Career Management, and Global/Intercultural Fluency.
We think it would be meaningful for Sewanee to review these competencies and consider which we embrace—and what we might add to the list. If you want to join us for a conversation over lunch, please respond using this form.
