Welcome to Fitwell!

FitWell supports physical and mental health by offering an exercise space inclusive of all fitness levels, body types, and abilities. Our staff will help you customize workouts to meet your needs. Our gym includes group exercise, cardio equipment, and strength training.

Hours and Contact Information

FitWell is open for standard hours during the academic year (Advent and Easter semesters). During academic breaks (including summer), FitWell shifts to abbreviated hours. FitWell is closed on all official University holidays (but remains open on floating holidays).

Monday - Thursday: 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

ABBREVIATED HOURS:

Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Membership

Membership includes access to strength, cardio, and spin rooms, as well as all group exercise classes. Classes are based on availability, so please register in advance to secure your spot.

Memberships for Students and Current Employees

All students and current employees are eligible for a FitWell membership at no cost. You don’t need to create a membership, but you’ll need to complete the online waiver before your first visit. You can access the waiver on the FitWell Member Portal by signing in at the top right of the page using your Banner username. Your University-issued ID will serve as your membership card.

FitComm: Memberships for Community Members

Community members (who are not students or current employees) may purchase a monthly FitWell membership, which is called FitComm. The cost for this is $30/month; your credit card will be charged at the beginning of each month on a recurring basis. You can sign up for a FitComm membership on the FitWell Member Portal. To request your membership card, stop by the FitWell Front Desk. You can still work out and register for classes even without a card.

Canceling Memberships: You may cancel your FitComm membership at any time without any associated fees or penalties. Please fill out this form to cancel your membership. Membership cancellation will go into effect the following month (i.e., if you cancel on the 23rd of the month, you will not be charged the following month, but you will NOT be refunded for the remainder of the current month for which you have already paid). You will still have access to FitWell until the end of the month. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 3 business days before the end of the month in order for the cancellation to go into effect the following month. You will receive a confirmation email when your membership has been successfully canceled.

Parking: FitComm members must adhere to the University parking policy. Limited street parking is available on University Avenue in front of the Wellness Commons.

Day Passes

Individuals who are not FitComm members can also purchase $10 day passes, which can only be used on the date of purchase. You can purchase a day pass here.
