With joyful hearts, Sarah Cummings (Powell) C’11 and Dr. Steven Cummings proudly announce the arrival of their son, Luke Cummings, born on July 3, 2025. Also, in September, Sarah was promoted to Manager - Human Capital Advisory at KPMG.
Carson Wright, C'11 completed the Hayduke Half Marathon in Gallup, NM in 4 hours and 49 minutes - setting a new personal record!

On May 9, 2025, the Rev. Will Stanley, C'12, married  Will Ferguson at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Richmond, Virginia, where Will Stanley serves as the vicar. Five of Will Stanley's classmates from the class of 2012 were among his groomsmen: Rhea Hyatt, Patrick Platzer, Breck Pappas, Lawson Walker, and Will Condon. Also pictured from their class are Elizabeth Smyth (wife of Lawson Walker) and Rob and Katherine McAlister. Taylor Baird, C'15, and Mercer Ferguson, C'05, are also pictured. The Rt. Rev. J. Neil Alexander (former chancellor of the University, Dean of the School of Theology and current Sewanee resident) officiated, but is not pictured.

Hillary Dziminski, C'14, is over the moon to share that WaveWalker Films -- of which she is a co-founder and COO -- has recently been touring their debut feature film 'Horseshoe' around Ireland, Europe, and North America. 'Horseshoe' was named by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the top 5 Can't Miss Movies at the Oldenburg Film Festival, where the film made its European premiere alongside two other Irish feature films and two Irish shorts, including 'A Day in the Sun', another WaveWalker production. They were honoured to be part of this year's festival, which featured a spotlight on Irish filmmakers, including a reception at Oldenburg Castle with the Irish Ambassador to Germany in attendance. 
Maggie Dunlap, C'14, married the Rev. Christopher Phillops at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Bethesda, MD on September 13, 2025. William Hudson Robb, C'15 received his PhD in neurology/neuroscience from Vanderbilt University this summer. His dissertation, entitled "Vascular-metabolic Magnetic Resonance Imaging Markers of Abnormal Brain Aging", is a study that contributes to fighting Alzheimer’s Disease. Hudson begins a Post-Doc at Vandy this fall with two labs and will combine his metabolic work with his computer skills in machine learning (aka AI).  As an undergrad, Hudson worked two summers at Vandy through Sewanee-Vanderbilt summer internship program, and he worked at Yale through Sewanee’s partnership with that university.
