^{John G. Baar, C'75,  Beta Theta Chapter Advisor, received the Alfred P. Sheriff III Award for Outstanding Chapter Advisor from the Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity this past summer at Karnea, the fraternity's bi-annual national conference. John has been the Beta Theta Chapter Advisor for 15 years and during his time the Chapter has been the major fraternity contributor to the Sewanee Rotary Hunger Walk and has earned the top GPA among fraternities most semesters.}
