Attending programs at top tier business schools acclimates liberal arts students to the world of business. Students are introduced to management, team building, strategy, marketing, organization, development, and accounting and are provided with networking opportunities with a globally diverse group of business colleagues and professionals.

Beecken Scholarship

The Beecken Scholarships provide partial funding for Sewanee students to attend approved summer bridge programs at Dartmouth College (Tuck), University of California, Berkeley (Haas), University of Chicago (Booth) and The University of Texas at Austin (McCombs).

Sewanee-Vanderbilt Accelerator Scholarship

This scholarship provides three Sewanee students with a four-week, full-time summer program experience at The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. The program combines intensive instruction in business fundamentals with real-world consulting internships at leading companies designed specifically for non-business majors.

JOHN AND JAY SCOTT SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDY ABROAD IN BUSINESS

Recipients of the John and Jay Scott Scholarship for Study Abroad in Business receive funding for one semester at an approved institution with a renowned international business curriculum. The scholarship is intended for business minors seeking to gain a competitive advantage in the global marketplace as they prepare for new careers.
