Attending programs at top tier business schools acclimates liberal arts students to the world of business. Students are introduced to entrepreneurship, innovation, finance, management, strategy, marketing, and accounting and are provided with networking opportunities with a globally diverse group of business colleagues and professionals.
The Beecken Scholarships provide partial funding for Sewanee students to attend approved summer bridge programs at Dartmouth College (Tuck), the University of California, Berkeley (Haas), the University of Chicago (Booth), and The University of Texas at Austin (McCombs).
This scholarship provides four Sewanee students with a three-week summer program experience with The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. The certified program combines intensive instruction in business fundamentals with real-world consulting experience at leading companies designed specifically for non-business majors.
