Users can hover over any point on the line to see the exact number of works containing the term in a given year, along with a list of links to the works themselves

Google Ngram Viewer

The Google Books Ngram Viewer is a free, web-based tool that compares the usage of multiple keywords or phrases using Google Books corpus. Entering words or phrases into the search box generates a line graph comparing their prevalence over time. Users can hover over the lines to discover what percentage of total words published in a year a term accounts for.

MediaCloud

MediaCloud is a free, web-based tool that allows users to search multiple news outlets and creates visualizations of media trends. The data used to create these graphs can be exported as a CVS file that includes links to the news articles.
