Move in for new students occurs on multiple days in the fall term to accommodate students including varsity athletes, international students, and those participate in early programs.
Transfer Student Move In January 2025
New transfer students will move into their halls on Saturday, January 11, 2025 beginning at 9 a.m. The Office of Residential Life will provide information via email to students with more details about next steps.
Orientation programs begin for students and their families at noon on January 11, 2025.

ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Students will receive instructions on where to check in and pick up their keys depending upon their move in date. This information comes via email directly to the student, so it is important for students to read their Sewanee email regularly over the summer.
Orientation Check In happens for all students, regardless of move in date, on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. More information will be shared closer to August.
