Joining the South Cumberland Plateau AmeriCorps Project is a straightforward process designed to select passionate and dedicated individuals ready to serve.

Follow these steps to apply:

  1. AmeriCorps Application:
  2. Candidate Assessment:
    • After submitting your application, you will receive a candidate assessment to evaluate your skills, interests, and suitability for the program.
  3. Interview with the program director and site supervisor:
    • Selected candidates will be contacted for an interview to discuss their motivations, experience, and potential service placements.
  4. Background Check:
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • All accepted members must complete comprehensive background checks, including criminal history, NSOPW (National Sex Offender Public Website), and FBI fingerprinting.
