2020-2021 Tuition & Fees
Each year Sewanee invests more than 33 million dollars of institutional resources, through academic scholarships, need-based grants, tuition remissions, and institutional employment opportunities in our undergraduate students. In August, 88 percent of our new students, arriving on the mountain, will receive institutional funding through scholarships, need-based grants, tuition exchange, or tuition remission. On average this group will receive $24,690, in strictly gift funding from just Sewanee, to assist with their educational expenses.
2020-21 Undergraduate Comprehensive Fee & Other Expenses
- Comprehensive fee: $61,680 includes tuition, room and board, and fees
- U.S. students should also estimate $2,550 for necessary books, supplies and personal expenses. Transportation expenses vary based on a student's location. Students should allow for between $400 and $1,200 in travel costs.
- International students should budget roughly $4,500 for necessary books, supplies, health insurance, personal expenses, SEVIS, and visa expenses.
