Arcadian Co-Directors work with various aspects of the Arcadian Program to provide support for members. Their goal is to create a culture of inclusiveness and professionalism while working to move the organization forward.
Avery Martinenza, C'29
Avery is from Newark, Delaware. She is majoring in Biology with a minor in Spanish. She has been a part of the Arcadian Program since her freshman year and now serves as the Co-Director for Special Events and Programming where she helps to organize admissions events. Outside of the program, Avery is a LifeSciences Research Fellow, a member of Greek Life, and serves on the Sewanee Consulting Club.
Olivia Moellering Baratas, C'27
Olivia is from Atlanta, Georgia. She is double-majoring in International and Global Studies and French, with a Business minor. She has been a part of the Arcadian Program since her freshman year and now serves as the Co-Director of the Daily Visit Experience. Outside of the Arcadian Program, Olivia works as a Johnson Hall Proctor for the Office of Residential Life, is a Site Leader for Democratic Engagement under the Bonner Program, and works as a server at Judith. Besides English, Olivia also speaks Spanish, Italian, and French!
Rowan Pollard, C'27
Rowan is from Nashville, Tennessee. They are double majoring in Anthropology and French Studies. They have been an Arcadian since freshman year and are now serving as the Co-Director for Recruitment and Retention. Outside the program, they are an active member of Greek Life, a volunteer for All Saints, and work at Stirling’s Coffee House.
Payton Burch, C'27
Payton is from Columbia, South Carolina. She is majoring in Molecular Biology and Genetics with a minor in psychology. She has been a member of the Arcadian program since her sophomore year and is now serving as the Co-Director for the Daily Visit Experience and Programming. Outside of the Arcadian program, she is a member of the varsity women's golf team, serving as her soroity's president, and is a tutor for the Office of Medical and Health Programs.
Sarah Jean Caver, C'27
Sarah Jean is from Nashville, Tennessee. She is majoring in History with a minor in Art. She has been part of the Arcadian Program since the fall of her freshman year and is now serving as the Co-Director for Panels. Outside of Arcadians, she is a member of Greek Life, Growing in Grace, Sewanee Outing Program, and has an Arts Fellowship for photography.
