Professor DeBow was on the law faculty at Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham from 1988 to December 2024. He taught the required courses in property and business organizations, and a number of electives including administrative law as well as a pre-1L summer course to incoming students. He is a Mississippi native and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from the University of Alabama. He earned a J.D. from Yale Law School.
