On April 11, 2024 at 11 AM in the Torian Room, in duPont Library, Dr. Anne O'Neil-Henry (Georgetown University) will offer a lecture, "Solar Power, Algeria, and the 1878 Universal Exhibition of Paris." The lecture is free and open to the public.
Dr. O'Neil-Henry, a specialist in 19th century French literature with a focus on the environment, is the author of Mastering the Marketplace: Popular Literature in Nineteenth-Century France (University of Nebraska Press, 2017).
