Kevin Wilson's novel, Nothing to See Here was chosen by the National Endowment for the Arts to be part of its "Big Read" program, which provides funding for community discussion of important works of literature; only 15 books are chosen. The novel, which follows the contentious relationship between two high school friends amidst high-stakes politics and spontaneously-combusting children, was also a New York Times Bestseller. Kevin Wilson's short story, "Biology," was chosen by editor Jesmyn Ward for inclusion in The Best American Short Stories 2021. It was originally published in The Southern Review.
