Dr. Najung Kim received her PhD in Art History from Stanford University in 2019. She specializes in acculturation occasioned by the influx of immigrants and art objects in East Asia and the art of yimin (left-over subjects) in premodern China. She is currently working on a monograph on the late Yuan painter Ni Zan and the afterlives of his oeuvre, entitled Displaced Landscape: The Life and Art of Ni Zan (1301-1374).
