The School of Theology is home to an accredited seminary of The Episcopal Church and the Beecken Center, a center for lay and clergy education and training.

Dean of the School of Theology

The Book of Common Prayer and The Hymnal 1982 are the heart of life in worship and devotion at the School of Theology, ever present in classrooms for theological study, and the standard to which the School is held.

The Seminary

The School of Theology's seminary is committed to excellence in forming faithful and effective clergy and lay leaders for the Church. The seminary equips “those who equip the saints” with the tools and skills necessary to live, preach and teach.

The Beecken Center

The Beecken Center of the School of Theology at the University of the South, a lively center of learning and ministry in its fifth year of expansion, and celebrating more than 40 years as the home of Education for Ministry (EfM).
