Nancy Seiters, C’96, is returning to Sewanee as assistant dean of Greek and student life. In this role, she will manage the Greek life and student involvement programs. Nancy was born and raised in Sewanee and is proud to call the University her alma mater. She earned a master’s degree in human development counseling from Vanderbilt University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in leadership, learning, and decision-making at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. With over 25 years of experience in education and counseling, Nancy has served several schools including Harpeth Hall in Nashville, Lake County Schools in Colorado, and most recently, at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
As a student at Sewanee, Nancy received the Allen Farmer Award in recognition of contributions to the community. Her professional work reflects her commitment to supporting students through leadership development, strategies in decision-making, and mission-driven organizational growth. Nancy is excited to join our team of students and colleagues to foster student organizations that strengthen community, encourage engagement, and help students thrive both individually and collectively.
