Sewanee Cares is our guide to identifying challenges and activating each of us to recognize it and act in a thoughtful, caring manner. We believe that we will be more effective when we share a common vocabulary and values that guide expectations for behavior. It takes all of us supporting one another to create a caring community.
Sewanee Career Readiness hosts events that allow students to discover their strengths, explore potential majors and careers, and engage with alumni and employers.
Sewanee considers internships and research fellowships are a valuable and integral part of a field of study, an important way to get insights into a career field, obtain valuable professional experience, and develop new skills. To facilitate this, Sewanee offers funding to our students to provide stipends for unpaid internships and research fellowships. Why do an ordinary summer job when you can do a meaningful internship in your field of interest?
