Emery Hall's theme changes from year to year. Examples of previous themes are the Community Wellness House (Healthy Hut) and the Sportsman's House.
Emery houses 10 students in its eight rooms: two doubles and six singles. There are two full and one half bathrooms in the house that are shared by the residents. Bedrooms and windows are unique in size and shape.
In the basement, residents can enjoy studying and hanging out in the large living room and kitchen. In the living room, there are several couches and chairs for seating, a TV, and a DVD player. Cable is not provided. The kitchen contains a stove top, oven, large sink, cabinet space, refrigerator, and microwave. Limited cooking supplies are provided. Students may wish to bring their own. A washing machine and dryer are also located in the building. Residents of Emery share an outdoor space, grill, and parking lot with the residents of Hodgson Hall.
