The Bairnwick Women’s Center is a student-led movement that seeks to educate and to empower the Sewanee community by promoting social justice, equality, and voice.

The rooms in Bairnwick are unique, and are arranged differently on a yearly basis to best suit the needs of its residents and the Sewanee community.

Bairnwick has a large living room on its first floor, which includes several pieces of comfy furniture, along with cable TV and a DVD player. The kitchen is located on the first floor and provides an oven, microwave, and full-sized refrigerator. Laundry machines are also located in the kitchen. The Bairnwick Women's Center is air-conditioned. Parking is shared with the residents of St. Luke's Hall, Hoffman Hall, and the Spanish House.
