Sewanee Dining does not have an allergen-free facility. We make every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to instruct our food production staff on the severity of food allergies and to label items with possible allergen-containing ingredients. However, there is always a risk of cross contact, and it is possible that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation at any time without notice. Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of these risks. Sewanee Dining is committed to providing options and information to our guests with different dietary preferences.

We change production methods and make allergen labeling exceptions for our student body. Each student with an allergy is handled on a case-by-case basis. If you are a student with an allergy or other medical dietary concerns, please contact the Student Accessibility Office and learn more about dining accommodations. To learn more about religious dietary accommodations, please contact Amanda Gott.
