Scott Busey

Scott Busey is interested in business administration and data analysis. During the summers, he works at a Sadler Point Marine Center and as a youth sailing coach in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. At Sewanee, he is a member of the Order of the Gown, the Sewanee Purple Haze Rugby Team, the sailing club, and the Prescribed Fire Team. In his free time, Scott enjoys hunting, fishing, and sailing.

Savannah Gann

Savannah Gann is from Hoover, Alabama, and is pursuing a degree in international and global studies with a minor in business. Last summer she was the shift lead at Canyon Eatery in Yellowstone National Park and has been a Trader Joe's crew member in Birmingham, Alabama. On campus, she is a member of the Order of the Gown, the varsity volleyball team, Green's View Capital student investment club, Sewanee Women in Finance, Business, and Economics Society, and Theta Kappa Phi sorority. In her free time, Savannah enjoys reading, fitness, travel, and hiking on the Domain.

Jawaria Jaleel

Jawaria is pursuing a double major in politics and economics with a minor in business. Last summer, she was a Sewanee DataLab intern using data science to investigate the spread of disinformation. As a Bonner Service Leader, Jawaria co-founded Z.E.A.L., a program teaching English to local adult immigrants. On campus, she is also chair of the Religious & Spiritual Life Council, a resident advisor, a Global Arcadian, president of the Muslim Student Association, and a member of the Order of the Gown and the SGA Algernon Sydney Sullivan Committee. Jawaria works as a shift manager at Stirlings's and loves contributing to cross-cultural initiatives. She is from Hassan Abdal, Pakistan, and speaks Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, in addition to English.

Logan Johnson

Logan intends to major in finance and minor in business. At Sewanee, he is a member of the varsity golf team, earning a spot on the SAA All-Conference golf team. Logan is active in the Order of the Gown, Green's View Capital student investment club, Sewanee St. Jude's club, and is the alumni and community service chair for Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. During the summers, he works at Preston Trail Golf Club in his hometown of Dallas, Texas. Off the course, Logan enjoys bass fishing, playing guitar, and attending concerts and sporting events. 

Maria Kennedy

Maria Kennedy is pursuing a degree in international and global studies with a minor in business. At Sewanee, she is a member of the Order of the Gown, the varsity volleyball team, Green's View Capital student investment club, CRU youth ministry, Sewanee Women in Finance, Business, and Economics Society, and Theta Kappa Phi sorority. Last summer, she was a Marist School volleyball camp counselor and Intensity Volleyball Club camp assistant coach near her hometown of Johns Creek, Georgia. Maria's interests include fitness, reading, drawing, traveling, and practicing Spanish. 

Eric Lin

Eric Lin is pursuing a degree in computer science and a minor in business. He is a Posse Scholar and Mentor from Springfield, Virginia. He recently completed a fellowship as a software engineer at Headstarter AI and began working toward the Urban Land Institute's Foundations of Real Estate (FoRE) certification. On campus, Eric is a member of the Order of the Gown, Green's View Capital student investment club, the Sewanee Computing Society, the Commercial Real Estate Cohort, and the Sewanee Chinese Club. He also serves as a barista at Cup & Gown and enjoys volleyball, fencing, cooking, and gaming in his free time. 

Jack Merril

Jack intends to major in finance with a business minor. Last summer, he sharpened his analytical skills at Morningside Capital, a boutique real estate investment company, in his hometown, Houston, Texas. At Sewanee, he's a member of the Order of the Gown, the varsity baseball team, and Green's View Capital student investment club. In his free time, Jack enjoys collecting vinyl records. 

Max Miller

Max intends to major in economics and minor in business, focusing on commercial real estate. Last summer, he prepared for the California real estate license exam in his hometown of San Carlos. At Sewanee he's a member of the Order of the Gown, Green's View Capital student investment club, the Commercial Real Estate Cohort, and Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. In his free time, Max enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring the Domain—even on a scooter! 

Grace Whitley Olson

Grace Whitley is from Nashville, Tennessee, and is pursuing a double major in environment & sustainability and politics and a minor in business. Last summer, she received the Tennessee State Naturalist certification, served as a poll worker, and taught at a summer school. On campus, she is the president of the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature, a Student Government Association (SGA) senator, a contributor to the Sustain Sewanee newsletter, secretary for Sewanee Women in Finance, Business, and Economics Society, and a member of the Order of the Gown and Kappa Delta sorority. Grace Whitley loves photography, traveling, exploring new foods, and building connections everywhere she goes!

Clay Upchurch

Clay is an international and global studies major with minors in Spanish and business. Last summer he was a Next Level Lacrosse area coordinator and a freelance graphic designer in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, and he volunteered for Virtuoso, Ltd. At Sewanee, Clay is a president of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity and a member of the Order of the Gown, the varsity lacrosse team, Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honors Society, and Green's View Capital student investment club. His interests include fitness, graphic design, hunting, camping, and traveling.
