Dr. Tim Shaffer, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Chair of Civil Discourse and SNF Ithaca Initiative, Biden School of Public Policy and Administration, University of Delaware, will explore how higher education can cultivate civil discourse and strengthen democratic life amidst polarization. He will offer both scholarly insights and practical tools for navigating tensions and staying in conversation.
