Abby Colbert is an attorney with a specialty in immigration and nationality law, admitted to practice law in Tennessee and in Massachusetts. Abby received her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the Boston University School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Scholar, an Edward F. Hennessey Distinguished Scholar, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Boston University International Law Journal. She received a Masters of Arts in International Relations from the Boston University School of Arts and Sciences, and her Bachelors of Arts in Art History from Haverford College in Pennsylvania.

Abby is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the National Association of College and University Attorneys, and a volunteer with the Legal Aid Society of the Cumberlands and Eastern Tennessee. Before relocating to Sewanee she was the Managing Attorney of the non-profit Irish International Immigrant Center in Boston.
