The Labs

The Computer Science Program has the use of dedicated spaces which serve as both classrooms and independent work and study spaces. Installed machines include dedicated Linux and Macintosh computers.

Main Lab (WL 136) 
20 HP Desktop computers -- each configured as follows.

  • 16 GB RAM 
  • 500 GB Hard Drive 
  • HP 2711X 27" DVI HDMI LED Monitors
  • NVIDIA GeForce GT 430/PCIe/SSE2 1GB DDR3

UpperLevel Lab (WL 119) 
 6 computers -- each configured as follows.

  • 27" iMac Intel i5 @ 3.2 GHz (quad-core)
  • 16 GB RAM
  • 1024 GB Hard Drive
  • NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M graphics processor with 1GB of GDDR5 memory

A dedicated file server allows users to work from any machine in either room and have full access to all their files.
