Welcome to Sewanee. We are glad to have you on campus and hope your visit is enjoyable. To help make your visit smooth, we offer this resource to help you with parking.
Our Unique Parking Environment
Sewanee is a unique campus environment wherein the surrounding neighborhood blends with our campus. You will find parking opportunities in campus lots, but not on Sewanee streets. We have attached a campus parking map to help guide you in finding a place to park. Sewanee Police manage parking and enforce parking regulations on campus, on the streets, and in the village of Sewanee.
Parking at Sewanee is a shared venture between visitors, students, faculty, and staff. Generally, parking in campus lots is less available Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Students are restricted to their assigned parking lots Monday-Friday between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm during the academic year. The map shows assigned student parking. Please leave these spots available for students during the academic year. While the map identifies areas on campus for parking, some of the spaces in parking areas may be restricted by signs.
On days when there are a number of activities or large activities on campus, you may end up parking several blocks from the campus core. Special Event Parking is often available, see maps and communication from your event organizer for details.
