Surplus property is defined as property for which there is no further planned use by the department currently responsible for that asset or which is intended for replacement. It includes all tangible assets such as equipment, materials, supplies and furniture. After all attempts are made to redeploy surplus items to other departments for use, items will be sold via the on-campus surplus auction and/or GovDeals.com. To be informed of all campus surplus auctions, please email David Brewer, Purchasing Manager to be added to the group.
There are numerous pieces of office furniture always available for campus use. Please check with the Purchasing office before purchasing new furniture.
