Peer Career Advocates play an important role in supporting the work of the Career Readiness by providing basic information and support to peers in how to use the office’s valuable resources.

Carson Coody C'25

In the Fall of 2023, Carson became a part of the PCA team. In his free time, he enjoys reading and using LinkedIn. Originally from Canton, GA, Carson is pursuing an Economics major along with minors in Business and Computer Science. He aims to use data analytics as a powerful tool to make informed decisions and contribute towards a more sustainable and efficient future. Currently, Carson serves as the CEO of Tiger Student Ventures (TSV) and has worked at Sewanee Datalab and JPMorganChase for his internships.

Angelina Khomenok C'25

Angelina is a senior from Lake Worth, FL and a double major in Economics and International & Global Studies at Sewanee. She became a Peer Career Advocate in 2022 and currently serves as a Student Director. She works as a teaching assistant for the Economics Department, Canale Intern for AmeriCorps, proctor, and also working on her Honors thesis in Economics. She loves networking with Sewanee alumni and helping others with resumes and cover letters. Angelina aims to pursue a Masters degree in International Economic Development after graduating from Sewanee.

Brenna Barber C'27

Brenna Barber is a sophomore from Montgomery, Alabama and started as a Peer Career Advocate in the fall of 2024. She is pursuing a double major in computer science and mathematics with a minor in history. As a PCA, Brenna enjoys meeting new people and helping others with their resumes and cover letters. On campus, she is also involved in Sewanee's dance program, Dancewise. When Brenna is not focusing on her studies, she enjoys hiking outdoors and dancing at the Tennessee Williams Center.

Fiona Kiernon C'27

Fiona Kiernon is a Sophomore from Nashville, Tennessee, and started as a Peer Career Advocate in the autumn of 2024. She is pursuing an Anthropology major and French minor. As a PCA, Fiona enjoys helping peers create resumes and cover letters. She is also involved in other organizations on campus, like the University Choir and Alpha Delta Theta. When she is not focusing on her studies, she spends her time listening to music and spending time with friends.

Nahuel Martinez C'26

Nahuel is a junior from San Lorenzo, Paraguay. He is double-majoring in Global Studies and Politics, and minoring in Environmental Studies. He started as a Peer Career Advocate in the fall of 2024, and enjoys helping people to seek opportunities to empower students. Outside the Program, he works for the office of Admissions as the Co-Director of the Global Arcadians, and in his free time Nahuel enjoys making coffee and spending time with friends.

Madeline Thornburg C’26

Madeline Thornburg is a Junior from Naples, Florida and started as a Peer Career Advocate in the autumn of 2023. She is a psychology major and chemistry minor, dedicated to the pre-med track. As a PCA, Maddy enjoys organizing alumni panels for her fellow peers. She is also involved in other organizations on campus like Sewanee Multicultural Health Society and Phi Sigma Theta. When she is not focusing on her studies, she spends her time engaging in community service.
