Chris Farrar T'26

Chris is a Postulant for Holy Orders and second-year Master of Divinity student in the School of Theology. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, he moved to Sewanee from Washington, D.C.. In addition to serving as a Chaplain-in-Residence, Chris is a firefighter and chaplain with the Sewanee Volunteer Fire Department and holds a variety of positions within the School of Theology community. Before attending seminary, he served as a Professional Staff Member in the U.S. Congress and as a humanitarian with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Chris holds a B.A. from The University of the South and a M.A. (Irregular Warfare) from the United States Naval War College. When not studying, Chris is an avid reader and enjoys live music and spending time outdoors.

Austin Puckett T'26

Austin Puckett is a second-year Masters student at the School of Theology with a focus in Biblical Studies. He is originally from a little town in Southwest Virginia called Abingdon, known for the Barter Theatre and the Martha Washington Inn. Austin received his undergraduate degree in Theatre Arts in 2018 at King University in Bristol, Virginia. Before coming to Sewanee, he worked as a Personal Trainer and Meditation Instructor at his local community center. When he is not studying, Austin enjoys spending time at the gym, walking in nature, and enjoying brunch with his friends.

Sara Miller Schulte, T'25

Sara lives in Ayres Hall and serves that community as well as McCrady Hall.  She is a double alum; she graduated from the college in 2005 and is now a senior at the School of Theology. Sara serves as a chaplain to the Sewanee Volunteer Fire Department in addition to serving as a firefighter.
