Faculty violinist, Andrew Uhe, presents a program of music for violin alone featuring works by Bach, Telemann, and Ysaÿe as well as a rare concert gem by Max Reger, the monumental G Minor Chaconne, Op. 117, No. 4.

The program contrasts musical styles from the early 18th Century with those from the early 20th Century while considering ways in which the later work both allude to and diverge from Bach’s precedent.
