General Information & Logistics
  • The Registration Desk (McGriff Alumni House): First stop for nametags, event schedules, and homecoming swag.
    • Thursday: noon–5 p.m. | Friday: 8 a.m.– 6 p.m. | Saturday: 8 a.m.– noon
    • Hospitality Center with refreshments and restrooms open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 
    • Gown Library Collection (McGiff Alumni House) - The Order of the Gown is collecting gently used gowns for students who cannot afford one. Alumni are invited to donate their gowns and pass along this beloved Sewanee tradition. Donations can be dropped off at the Homecoming registration desk at McGriff Alumni House throughout the weekend.

  • Campus Tours / Information Sessions for Prospective Students (Fulford):

    • Thursday: 8:30–10 a.m. & 2–3:30 p.m.| Friday: 8 a.m.–6 p.m. | Saturday: 8 a.m.–noon

  • Morning & Evening Prayer (St. Augustine Chapel):

    • Thursday & Friday: 8:30 a.m. & 4 p.m.

Thursday, November 5

4:30-6 p.m.  All Alumni Happy Hour at McGriff (casual dress, cold drinks, and snacks).

Friday, November 6

8 a.m.—11 a.m. Back to the Classroom (visit regular academic classes).

9 a.m. —10 a.m. Tour of Fowler Center (meet at Fowler Lobby)

9 a.m.—10:30 a.m. Campus tour and information session (Admissions / Fulford Hall)

10 a.m.—4 p.m. Art, Storytelling, and Creative Placemaking on the St.Mark's Heritage Trail (Art Gallery)

2:30 p.m. Showing of The Whiskey Speech: Soggy Sweat, Prohibition, & the Power of Storytelling, a film by David Crews, C'76. Short Q&A and discussion to follow.

1 p.m. —2:30 p.m. Academic Departmental Showcases

4:30 p.m. —6 p.m. 'Welcome Home!' Happy Hour at Spencer Quad (next to McGriff)

6 p.m. —8 p.m. Class reunion parties (see your class reunion schedule for details)

8 p.m. —10:30 p.m. Alumni Celebration: ice cream sundae bar, drinks, and a band at Spencer Quad (next to McGriff)

Saturday, November 7

7:30 a.m. Fun Run for Alumni (McGriff Alumni House)

8 a.m.—9:30 a.m. Invitation-Only Breakfast (Chen Hall)

10 a.m. All Alumni Celebration (All Saints’ Chapel). Come celebrate our alumni award winners. 

11 a.m.—12:45 p.m. Reunion Brunch and Tailgate (Centennial House, 49 Roarke Cove Rd.)

12:30 p.m. Homecoming parade lineup

1 p.m. Homecoming football game (vs. Rhodes)

4 p.m. —5:30 p.m. Benjamin Network Reception at the Ayres Multicultural Center

5 p.m.—7 p.m. All alumni post-game BBQ

7 p.m.—10 p.m. All alumni dance (Spencer Quad next to McGriff)

8 a.m. Holy Eucharist (All Saints' Chapel)
