Students sang in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Latin, Russian, and Spanish at the 9th Annual International Karaoke Night
Judges Linda Heck, Travis Parker, and Mario Torres had a difficult time choosing winners among the numerous solo, small group, and whole class acts at the 9th Annual International Karaoke Night on October 25 at the Tiger Bay Pub. Students sang and heard songs from all over the world.
Solo Act Winners:
1st: Victor Esparza singing El triste by José José (Spanish)
2nd: Jack Hardy singing Ella baila sola by Eslabon Armado (Spanish)
3rd: Tianning Lyu singing Blue and white porcelain by Jay Chou (Chinese)
Small Group Act Winners:
1st: Dylana, Patrick, & friends singing Sonne by Rammstein (German)
2nd: Mozg Botanika singing Crocodile Gena's birthday song from Cheburashka (Russian)
3rd: La maison française sing Je ne regrette rien by Edith Piaf (French)
Whole Class Act Winners:
1st: Chinese 103A singing Creep by Radiohead (Chinese)
2nd: French 103A singing Alors on danse by Stromae (French)
3rd: French 103B singing Sympathique by Pink Martini (French)
