Spanish Interpreter Internship
This internship is a unique opportunity for students who are fluent in Spanish to serve as an interpreter at a local medical clinic. Applications open at the beginning of each semester.
Sports Medicine Internship
Students can join trainers and physicians at Sewanee's Athletic Training Center to help our athletes while discovering fields of sports medicine. This is great for aspiring athletic trainers, physical therapist, and medical doctors. Application opens at the beginning of each semester.
Summer Internships
V-SURE
The Vanderbilt-Sewanee Undergraduate Research Experience (V-SURE) is an opportunity for students to participate in mentored-research and round with general medicine residents. This internship is for two consecutive summers and the application is due late January.
Sewanee-At-Yale
Students intern at the Yale Child Study Center conducting research and going to seminars to deepen their understanding of developmental science. Applications are due late January.
ACE Medical
Pre-Vet, Pre-PT, Pre-Med and more internships with Sewanee Alum are offered through the ACE Medical internship program. Applications due early February.
ETSU Medical Horizons
Students can do rounds with physicians and residents at Quillen College of Medicine with the ETSU Medical Horizons internship. Applications due mid-March.
Quillen College of Medicine Anatomy Internship
Students intern in Quillen's gross anatomy lab for hands on experience with cadavers while learning about anatomy's relevance for medical students. Applications due early April.
