The Office of Medical and Health Programs provides an environment that promotes student success personally and professionally, Sewanee pre-health students are supported through a strong individualized advising experience that focuses on their path in medicine. Our students enjoy a supportive atmosphere with professional learning opportunities and unique leadership development programming. Sewanee pre-health students utilize these resources to gain the skills to e leaders in medicine, capable of handling the complex health care system with confidence and compassion.
At the University of the South, pre-health students are encouraged to explore passions and interests that lie within and outside of the pre-health field. Students are able to major in any discipline while pursuing a pre-health track. Pre-health at Sewanee is intended for students with aspirations in health related areas that require a graduate degree.
