The University of Tennessee Health Science Center's College of Nursing offers guaranteed admission to all Sewanee students who meet the requirements through our Partnership Enrollment Program. Sewanee students will enroll in UTHSC’s accelerated-BSN program and may elect to participate in a bridge DNP program.
Requirements for the program include good academic standing with a minimum overall combined 3.0 GPA. Students also must successfully complete their Sewanee degree, certain prerequisites (including hours in American history which can be fulfilled with high school credits), and the following biology courses:
- BIOL 133 and 233
- BIOL 270: Human Anatomy (with lab)
- BIOL 314: General and Human Physiology (with lab)
- BIOL 340: Microbiology (with lab)
Note: STAT 204 is recommended but not required.
