Linxian (Lilian) Huang received a B.S. in Financial Mathematics from Guangxi University in China in 2018 and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Actuarial Science and Economics from Middle Tennessee State University in 2019 and 2023, respectively. Her primary research interest is financial economics about FinTech innovation, with secondary fields in behavior economics and MicroFinance. Lilian's job market paper focuses on the impact of technology-based lending growth on bank profitability from a cross-country perspective and the characteristics that vary such relationship. She is also working on irrational investor behavior in the cryptocurrency market and the causality of cryptocurrency price fluctuations. Lilian's teaching interests include Corporate Finance, Asset Pricing, Investment, Money and Banking,  Principles of Economics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics theories.
