Hoang Dao (HD) earned his PhD in Economics at the State University of New York at Buffalo. His research interest lies in Applied Microeconomics, with a focus in Transportation Economics. At Sewanee, he teaches Principles of Economics, Health Economics, and Urban Economics. Besides research and teaching, he enjoys mentoring student research and multiple inexpensive hobbies.
