RESEARCH
I study material properties at extreme conditions to better understand the constitution and evolution of planetary interiors. My current focus is on combining theoretical ab initio calculations and high-pressure, high-temperature experiments to better constrain the distribution and cycling of hydrogen in the deep Earth.

TEACHING
I teach Mineralogy (GEOL 221), Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology (GEOL 320), Physical Geology (GEOL 121), and Geology of our Solar System (GEOL 236).
