The Office of Equity and Equal Opportunity oversees the University’s compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1965, which protects people against discrimination based on race, color, or national origin in programs that receive federal financial assistance. The University of the South is a recipient of federal financial assistance for its education programs and activities.
