NAGCR Annual General Meeting 2024 Schedule

Tentative schedule: We expect to schedule ringing sessions in Breslin Tower in 60-minute blocks that might be varied touches or quarter peals.  

Thursday, October 17

  • Check-in beginning at 3:00 pm

  • 6 - 8 pm: Open ringing

  • Dinner: Enjoy local area eateries (see Things to do in Sewanee)

Friday, October 18

  • Check-in from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

  • 9 am – 2 pm: Ringing courses broken into one-hour sessions

  • 2 - 6 pm: Ringing sessions

  • 6 pm: Welcome reception (wine, beer, soft drinks, and hors d’oeuvres)

  • Dinner: Enjoy local area eateries (see Things to do in Sewanee)

Saturday, October 19

  • Early departure for field trips to other towers

  • 9 am – 3 pm: Ringing sessions

  • 4 pm:  Annual General Meeting

  • 7 pm:  Banquet (buffet with wine, beer, and soft drinks)

Sunday, October 20

  • 9 am – noon: Quarter Peal(s)

  • 12:30 – 5 pm: General ringing sessions

  • Dinner: Enjoy local area eateries (see Things to do in Sewanee)

Monday, October 21

  • 9 am – 12 pm: Ringing sessions

  • 12 pm: Full Peal attempt (to be arranged by Ed Futcher)

  • 4 pm: Goodbyes
