This is a photo exhibit by father and son, David and Elijah Andrews-- "We’ve always looked together for the story in experiences. The prints in this show reflect that search. We still share surprises and wonder from our lives even as our days diverge, even as Elijah goes about the business of finishing college and prepares to go places; as I make my way to work. These images flirt with the sentimental. For both Elijah and me our photography is relegated and secondary to the demands of work and study. Photos made on the way to other places and with more recognizable obligations pressing. My hope is that the danger of caring for something too much is something you can relate to. But the alternative of not caring enough is the greater loss. Maybe what is attempted here is to make both risks visible in our photographs.
