Behind the Scenes— Theatre Sewanee

Sewanee’s Department of Theatre is preparing to open their fall production in the Proctor Hill Theatre at the Tennessee Williams Center (yes, named after that Tennessee Williams, the one who left his literary estate to Sewanee), and we want to invite you behind the scenes. Join us for an Admission information session, campus tour, student panel, dinner with current students, and the dress rehearsal of William Shakespeare's Hamlet.

6:00 p.m. Complimentary dinner with student hosts
7:15 p.m. Dress rehearsal
  • Who is invited?
    High school students and their parents/guardians, theatre teachers, college counselors. 
  • What will I do?
    Participate in an Admission tour, information session, and student panel followed by dinner with current students and the dress rehearsal of our fall production.
  • When can I participate?
    Future dates TBA
  • Why should I participate?
    You’re interested in theatre or Sewanee or both. (We’re really hoping it’s both.)
